mmmhello.
I've neglected this thing pretty badly, eh?
break has been really good :)
I needed to just sit back and relax for a while.
this morning I woke up and realized that I had homework due tomorrow.
what a crappy way to wake up.
so now I've finished my homework and I'm ready to go back to school quitting the semester already.
not much new has happened over break - it's just been nice.
my brother got guitar hero and I've become addicted.
I got a digital camera.
steve got a new job :)
my mom went to san francisco this weekend with alfred, and my cousin ashleigh stayed over to watch anna. what a change from having my grandma here - I love my grandma but she is old and she forgets shit all the time. so it was cool to catch up with my cousin - we watched I love new york on vh1 and reminisced about all the flava of love episodes we'd seen.
janine and margaret and I watched pride and prejudice (the 5 hour long version) and it was better than I expected.
now I have to read it.
blegh.
so now I'm sitting here waiting to talk to steve and go get some pie with kelly thomas.

merry christmas :)
my grandpa came over for brunch today, and then I pretty much sat on my ass until 5 when I went to steve's.
it was nice to be there with his whole family and have dinner and talk and stuff.
this is turning out to be a very gay entry.

it's almost christmas.
it's supposed to rain.
oh well
finals were very stressful, and I'm glad they're over
glad to be on break
thursday was steve and I's anniversary
we went out to dinner and then to greenfield village for the christmas nights thing
it was rainy and cold and a lot of fun :)
friday we all went to janine's for a christmas party dinner thing
and it was great
we all switched presents and we watched talladega nights

steve gave me a gorgeous present
I've never had a boy give me jewelry that I liked

yesterday we had a family party thing, which was nice
jeff spent the night :)
and now it's christmas eve day and I WANT TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE BAH
I can't wait to just..hang out over break
I love the feeling of not having to be anywhere or do anything
relax
and now
MY ROOM IS CLEAN
I spent the last 3 days on it
I'm so proud of myself
also, I am going to buy myself a digital camera with my christmas money
so that I can send pictures to my dad because I miss him
and so that I can take pictures of stuff
so I have to go camera hunting
maybe I'll go now

it started snowing today <3
I am in love with the weather.
I want to build a fire and snuggle up with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa and relax.
I want to go sledding and skiing and ice skating.
Winter always makes me feel more alive.
I have the urge to go outside and just...yell.

finals are soon, and then break.
I am relieved, to say the least.
Life is good lately.
Considering all of the hard things we've gone through lately, my family is doing really well.
steve and I are doing really well too :)
I want to do something really nice for everyone this year for christmas, but I don't know what.
ah, well
thinking it up is the fun part :)

My dad left for the middle east yesterday, and he won't be back until maybe christmas next year.
I got a new car.
